Double (or triple) up on shimmer! Usually we recommend highlighting one piece to make your outfit shine. This year, all over sparkle is on trend, so embrace the shine by pairing separates that sparkle. A sequin skirt with shimmering shoes, and a shining statement necklace. This is easiest to pull off with darker colors but be bold and try gold or silver pairings -- it’s New Years Eve!
Edge It Out
Add edge to a classic piece from your closet: Have a favorite mid-week classic pant, skirt, dress or jacket? Give it a cool edge for New Year’s eve by pairing it with something unexpected. An over the knee boot adds spice to a plaid skirt. Great booties add edge and glamour to the simplest of outfits. Take your favorite blazer and turn it into a tuxedo glammed up with heels or keep it extra feminine with low cut layers and and great jewelry.

If you are truly pressed for time and energy you can never go wrong by going “big” paired with “simple”. Black pants, black top, black shoes and a smashing pair of oversized earring never fails. We recommend pulling your hair up and back however you like to show them off and make prep even easier. Add a red lip for extra drama!
