It’s not as daunting as it may seem to stay up to date. It often comes down to adding AND eliminating a few key things from your closet.

Like it or not, at some point certain things become dated, not just “out of style”, and that’s when you suddenly realize you have moved from ”looking good”  to “I look like my dad”.

Here are Founder and Master Stylist, Aricia Symes-Elmer, 3 styling trends and tips coming for spring that will keep your wardrobe up-to-date.

Belts are the new socks —

Colorful and expressive printed socks had a good run but now that they are everywhere, it’s time for a change. This season pickup a unique belt to add some interest and personality to your look. Anything from color to embossing or metal grommets.

Cargo pants are back —

Yes, men rejoice! This pocket pouch pant has come full circle and is back. Embrace it’s return but find a modern pair -- the 2020 version is cut slimmer through the leg and has sleeker pockets, but still plenty of room to hold all your stuff!

Retro sneakers for comfort and color —

An easy upgrade to any look is a new pair of kicks, and this season you can kick it up a notch with a retro runner or skate shoe. They pair perfectly with anything from denim to chino’s and shorts. Choose a version with vivid color to add interest to your look, especially if the rest of your wardrobe tends to be neutrals.  If you are looking for a neutral version, try a vintage white instead of the usual black.
