Amy's Favorite Things : Your Gift Guide

The holidays are a time of celebration, family, and feasting, but it is also the season for shopping. Spending time in stores and browsing online for my clients inevitably leads me to create a long shopping list of gift items that I’m coveting, in addition to those for whom I’m shopping.

Stressing over gift ideas for friends and family is so 2019. To help you make this year a no-brainer, here are a few of my favorite things…

Cult Following Faves

In order to give black a little break, I’m obsessed with everything in the brown family these days. Like this Loewe Puzzle leather shoulder bag in tan. I admire its timeless color, reads logo free, and perfect size to tuck right under your arm.

Lovin’ this flattering holiday top in the iconic asymmetric silhouette that put the Marcella NYC brand on the map. The Manhattan is defined by a halter neckline that continues to an elegant long sleeve framing an open back. Comes in multiple colors and dress versions too.

Every season Nicholas Kirkwood does a variation of his classic boot with his signature pearls. These could be his best yet!

Bring on the Bling

Loving these Mejuri gemstone ear jacket studs, especially since citrine is my birthstone. Adds just enough sparkle yet neutral enough to go with everything. ($148)

I’m all in to snag Saint Laurent rhinestone thick curb chain earrings. It’s just enough bling to compliment oxide chain links that can work for every day wear. ($495)

Some things are not like the others.Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra pendant in 18K white gold and mother-of-pearl is tops on my luxury wish list this year. ($2,930)

Home Goodies

Adoring this CB2 porcelain vase with modern Italian 3-D curves . Plus, it’s watertight for any bloom you’re feeling. ($25)

The Lunya lofty wool cable throw is the type of gift that makes me want to get one for my family to curl up with… and get a few for my friends. It seems magically made with super soft air spun yarn designed to minimize the typical itchiness of wool. ($495)

Made in small batches with quality ingredients in Amesbury, Mass., FARM + SEA candles capture the utilitarian beauty of farms and the transformative power of the sea that uniquely defines the New England vibe. ($28)

Winter Ready

These leather mittens make me not mind the cold so much! SOIA & KYO’s Betrice mittens are as stylish as they are warm - lined with super-soft faux sherpa and a sleek zipper for fingertips. ($105)

Après Ski Pom Pom Beanies at local fave, Sole Amour. Fun hats come in multiple colors with crystal adornments or designs woven into the luxe angora blend for added warmth. Plus, real fur pom pom is removable for washing.

I am obsessed with the clean line of Victoria Beckham Beauty products enriched with superfood ingredients. This Posh lipstick protects your lips with a moisturizing colour balm. My next go-to is aptly named Spice. ($38) Pair it with lip pencil #2.
